The use of fully active packaging assembly lines is becoming increasingly common, with large-scale enterprises in various industries having such lines. However, due to poor cardboard boxes, problems such as jamming of sealing machines and poor production have been troubling businesses using fully active packaging assembly lines. Some cardboard packaging factories have even lost customers as a result. Here are a few suggestions for everyone to improve.
Flatness of cardboard boxes
When producing cardboard boxes, they must be flat because bent cardboard boxes easily get stuck when entering the sealing machine assembly line equipment, and affect the subsequent cardboard boxes entering the machine and causing damage, resulting in the active assembly line stopping and a high rate of cardboard box breakage or loss. So when producing cardboard boxes for active packaging assembly lines, attention should be paid.
The creases on the surface of the cardboard box
Because the formation of cardboard boxes relies on suction cups, if there are creases on the surface of the cardboard box, the suction cups will leak air, causing the cardboard box to fail to form and jam the machine. The main causes of creases are mold and handling issues, as well as creases caused by cardboard bending.
The size of the cardboard box should be accurate
Because the gaps and folding points of the active packaging assembly line are set according to the standard dimensions of the cardboard boxes, if a cardboard box with a large scale error is encountered during the packaging process, it will exhibit folding misalignment and even cause the machine to jam.
Indentation line
The pressure line of the cardboard box should be deep. If the pressure line of the cardboard box is too shallow during the packaging process, it will cause the pressure line to not fold down or not fold on the pressure line, resulting in poor or impossible molding of the cardboard box.
Planning of shaking lid scale
When planning the size of the cardboard box shaking cover, attention should be paid to avoiding stacking, and try to plan for a gap of about 2mm, which plays a crucial role in the sealing of the active packaging assembly line.
The difference in size of cardboard box seams and scissors
Because the size of the seams in the cardboard box and the difference in the scissors directly affect the forming of the cardboard box, poor forming can result in an ugly appearance of the cardboard box, and even cause the machine to jam and stop production. If these two problems are not well controlled, it is also a headache.
Adhesive overflow at the junction of the cardboard box
If the cardboard box shows a situation of overflowing glue, the suction cups of the active packaging assembly line will not be able to open the cardboard box at all, directly causing the sealing machine to jam and stop production. Therefore, this issue is something that cardboard box manufacturers need to pay attention to.
